An entire webpage dedicated to videos of hot chicks playing Wii in their underwear. Good fun. No nudity, but still probably NSFW.

Somedays the Onion has things so very right:
Quote:
WASHINGTON—In an effort to reduce wasteful spending and eliminate non-vital federal services, the U.S. government announced plans this week to cut its long-standing senator program, a move it says will help save more than $300 billion each year.

According to officials, the decision to cut the national legislative body was reached during a budget review meeting on Tuesday. After hours of deliberation, it was agreed that the cost of financing U.S. senators far outweighed the benefits they provided.

"Now more than ever, we must eliminate needless spending wherever possible," President Obama said at a press conference Wednesday. "When we sat down to go over our annual budget, we asked ourselves, where can we safely trim back? What programs can we do away with without negatively impacting the American people? Which bloated and ineffective institutions can we no longer justify having around?"

"The answer was obvious," Obama added. "The U.S. Senate just needed to go."

"A bill in Connecticut's legislature that would remove the statute of limitations on child sexual abuse cases has sparked a fervent response from the state's Roman Catholic bishops, who released a letter to parishioners Saturday imploring them to oppose the measure...The proposed change to the law would put 'all Church institutions, including your parish, at risk,' says the letter, which was signed by Connecticut's three Roman Catholic bishops...The 'legislation would undermine the mission of the Catholic Church in Connecticut, threatening our parishes, our schools, and our Catholic Charities,' the letter says."

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/04/11/con ... tml?hpt=T2

ROFL. Please Conn.! Don't repeal the statute of limitations on child sexual abuse cases! That'll make it even more difficult for us to continue to hide all the sexual abuse! I like how they even put in their letter how it will put "all Church institutions, including your parish, at risk". At risk at having to prosecute child abusing fucks.

This is exactly why Catholics are fed up as fuck with the fucking Roman Catholic Church. It's like the mob lobbying congress to place a 5-year limit on filing charges for Organized Crime related charges. Fuck you fuckhead. You molest kids or knowling work to enable others to = you get added to my hit list.

So picked up Splinter Cell: Conviction today (for xbox; the one that released yesterday). Pretty badass game if you like the splintercell 3rd person sneaky-types, and very story driven, but I noticed one adaptation that I really liked: Each of the achievements that you earn throughout the game (the bright shinies!) give you a number of (upgrade) points, which are then used to purchase new weapons/upgrade current ones. Not a huge leap from current systems, but makes a nice tie-in between bright shinies and upgrades.

Just got out of a lunch meeting with the President of the company I work for, and a guy that works for corporate I think, I don't know his title, but he is someone important (I work for a small company that is part of a new merger that is owned by a larger corporation). I'm entertained.

Some how Facebook was brought up and the big wig from corporate wanted to say something funny about a group his son joined called like "Child Birth is nothing compared to the pain of lag" or something along that nature. His son plays alot of xbox live apparently. But that's not the funny part.

He then tells an aspect of what his son and his online friends do that he thinks is rather funny. After they kill someone, they decide to taunt the dead player by "teabagging" them. Apparently in this game you can crouch, and if you push the crouch button repeatedly you kind of bounce. They walk ontop of the dead guy and do this and shoot the corpse and its really funny because they make this big deal about it.

Meanwhile, I'm trying all I can to not just start lawling in the middle of this work lunch of about 8 people including the president, new controller, and VP of finance. I did get the feeling though that the room was pretty much ignorant of what it actually is, either that or they were silent like me.

It makes me wonder how old his kid is and if he just neglected to tell his dad what it was, or if the kid thinks that its just a gaming term for doing that.

Just thought I'd share.

A+++

Reminds me of sometimes in marketing meetingswhen the head of my corp says "Man, we really blew our load on that one already." We totally work in an environment that is fundamentally conservative, and he has no idea he is making a pop culture reference to ...jizzum.
