Much easier to actually 'tag' enemies (place little orange triangles over them). I don't what limits it normally (if it's distance, distance based on weapon range, number of spots in last X min, amount of cover between u and target, etc) but with the spotter scope equipped it's much more reliable in actually getting the triangles to appear.

Oh I just curse at the monitor when it doesn't work. hrmm.

AND choppers have counter measures? Guess we're back to getting fucked in the ass again. awesome. Guess we can always forgoe our humvees and join IO servers. DUMB DUMB DUMB what's wrong with a "no air/tank" mode? Why do we have to walk everywhere?

Gameplay - Knifing people in the back works again (we backed out the change that we had done for Server R11)
Gameplay - Hit box for moving targets expands based on the speed of the targets movement
Gameplay - G36 now has crosshair when in Hardcore mode
Server Browser - Servers are sorted into 3 categories: Normal, Modified, Hardcore depending on their settings
Server Browser - Join queue system when attempting to join a full server
Client - New chat system allows chatting when dead (but not during end of round) and keeps a 100 lines log
Client - Any points you get while being dead will be added to your score
Client - Increased health on the Cobra to match other vehicles
Client - Support for Map Packs so PC gets future VIP maps at the same time as consoles

Server - Some potential sources for lag/rubberbanding have been eliminated
Client - Rewritten how settings are written to disk; this should reduce/eliminate the spawn lag

Remains to be seen how the weapons changes will work out. Not too pleased that they beefed up choppers, although I guess it was a little stupid that blackhawks were used for little other than kamikaze base pushes. Battlefield games need a transport only mode, where they have twice as many transports and no air or armor.

If they had done this for BF2 instead of the gay ass shit they did, I would still be playing that game. Exclusively.

BC2 Clan Tag Doesn't Remember Spaces Fix
remember the old ALT-0160 fake space trick we used to steal names while pub raiding?

Well, next time you're in your character login for bc2, erase your clan tag, hold ALT and hit 0160. Add your two underscores, then do the ALT thing again. Congrats, BC2 will now save the spaces in your tag.
